Working Together

This page explains how sessions work, what you can expect, and the practical details around booking, fees, cancellations, and confidentiality.

I work with adults aged 18 and over, in person in Norwich and online across the UK. My work combines counselling and coaching, with a particular focus on ADHD, autism, AuDHD, emotional regulation, burnout, shutdowns, rejection sensitivity, masking, and the lived reality of trying to function in systems that often do not fit.

The aim is not to push you through a fixed programme. We work at a pace that makes sense for you.

What I offer

I work as both a counsellor and a coach because they do different jobs.

The counselling work goes into the deeper material. Patterns, emotional responses, relationship dynamics, and the things that sit underneath the surface.

The coaching work focuses on the practical reality. How you manage your time, your energy, your relationships, your decisions, and the environments you’re moving through day to day.

Most people need a blend of both. We find the balance together.

How sessions work

Sessions are conversational and adapt to you.

Some sessions will be reflective and slower. Others will be more focused and practical. We may follow a thread, or we may shift direction depending on what is happening for you that week.

There is no expectation that you arrive organised or knowing what to say. You do not need to prepare anything.

If structure helps, we use it. If structure gets in the way, we drop it.

Where sessions take place

In person in Norwich.
This can be in a therapy room in the city centre, or as a walk-and-talk session along the river.

Online sessions are available across the UK via video or phone.

Fees

£65 per 50-minute individual session.
£95 per 60-minute couples session.

A free 30-minute intro call is available before booking.

Concession slots are available if cost is a genuine barrier. There is no formal process for this. If you need it, just ask.

Cancellations and missed sessions

If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, please give at least 24 hours’ notice where possible.

Late cancellations or missed sessions may still be charged, as that time has been reserved for you.

I understand that things do come up, and this is handled reasonably.

Confidentiality

Anything you share in sessions is treated as confidential.

There are limits to confidentiality where there is a risk of serious harm to you or to others, or where disclosure is required by law. If this situation arises, I will aim to discuss it with you wherever possible.

Suitability

I work with adults who are looking to understand themselves more clearly and make changes that actually fit how they function.

If I don’t feel that I’m the right person to support you, I will say so and point you in a better direction where possible.

Crisis support

This service is not designed for crisis situations.

If you are in immediate distress or at risk of harm, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services by calling 999.

Getting started

The simplest way to begin is with a free 30-minute intro call.

This gives us a chance to talk through what’s going on for you, what you’re looking for, and whether working together feels like a good fit.

If it does, we can arrange sessions from there. If it doesn’t, I will be honest about that.
